Raw Data and Concerned Scientists

Ms. Mareck's smugness aside, there are many excellent sources
for raw climate data. There are many interpretations of the data
also. There are also data that seems to never get widespread coverage
in the media, along with accompaning interpretations by highly
respected scientists. People like Fredick Seitz, Past President
of The National Academy of Sciences, Professor Emeritus, Rockefeller
University (whuda thunk?). A good starting place would be the
footnotes in Micheal Crichton's book "State of Fear".
Also sites such as www.oism.org/pproject/s33p36.htm#Message53
from the Oregon Institute of Science and Medcine contain raw
data as well as reasoned analysis. It also conains a link to
the La Jolla Petition. One might also check out www.marshall.org,
the site for the George Marshall Institute. And there is always
N.O.A.A. And those Greenland
ice core samples which show that around 40,000 years ago the
Earth's annual average temperature increased by as much as 10
degrees F within 50 years. I'm not sure why none of this stuff
makes it to the Wall Street Journal or the New York Times.
