I just wanted to say thank you to CHARR for sponsoring the free
cab rides home during the Fourth of July festivities. We enjoyed
a safe and sober ride home on the 3rd of July. We usually take
advantage of this on New Year's Eve and it was nice to not fork
out an additional 40-50 dollars to make it home on this night
as well. My only complaint is the cab drivers don't seem to
be fully on board with this situation. Our cab driver informed
us that we needed a different voucher to get out North to our
house, my smartypants friend told him to go ahead and turn around
and go back to the bar and she'd be happy to get a different
voucher. That quieted him down and we made it home. Thanks
again for doing such a great thing for the citizens of Ketchikan,
I wish more communities would do this, it really does help keep
the roads safe.
