Smoking in restaurants

I appreciate Ms. Inouye 's response, but I have a couple of items
from her letter that I disagree with. First, there are a FEW
restaurants in Ketchikan not PLENTY and second the people smoking
in the few we have, are pushing their personal lifestyle and
beliefs on the people that do not. Third in our country it is
the public and their elected officials that do and should make
the rules not business men whose first obligation is, most often,
to their wallets.
However, I am pleased that you spoke up.
To Mr. Kelly, I would respond to his comment about "many
Restaurants in the State of Alaska offering a non-smoking atmosphere"
only this: The State of Alaska is two times the size of Texas,
just where are these many smoke free restaurants. To the rest
of his letter I can only respond with this, "What???"
