I have lived and worked in Alaska for over 20 years. I think someone from San Diego has lots of guts to tell me that becuase we want to have the tourists pay for the garbage they leave here and the wear and tear that the industry puts on our roads we are greedy. Were you one of the people that told me I couldn't drive to the airport by bridge? When did you have to take a ferry boat to the airport to fly to anywhere you wanted to go. When did it cost you $600.00 to get to the nearest town to do some shopping. Do you have to ask permission from the federal government when you want to build a new road or a bridge? Since you don't live here you should keep your nose out of our business. We are the only state that has more federal land and federal laws than any other state in the union. When someone from San Diego wants to go to Arizona or New Mexico you just get in your car and drive and even with the price of gas it doesn't cost you much. I was raised in California and still have relatives in San Diego so keep your nose out of our business Mr. Lilja!! If you lived here or were here more than once I would listen to you but until you have walked in my shoes don't call me names.
