NOW, they are concerned about finances and are locking the barn after the horse is stolen? Don't get me wrong I'm not blaming all the board members because there are two new members who have tried to right the wrongs but always got out-voted. Now, what happened when two school board members went into the school and took furniture and what-not that was earmarked to sell? Everyone in town knows what happened, you can't live in a small town and not know what goes on. Nothing was done to these board members, nothing! That is like taking the money right out of our children's hands! Shameful! I will once again be attending school board meetings as I have a grandson in the 5th grade and I am worried about his education. I would not go to meetings when the past CEO was in charge so to speak, to watch our money being funneled into a company and the school board letting it happen. I've tried and tried to tell parents, community members what was going on when the past CEO and his partner were here but no one would listen, now there's no money for our children! Will anyone listen now? It's way past too late! Those people didn't care about the children and it showed, sadly it's the children who have to suffer now! Already the classes are overcrowded, are the children able to learn in an overcrowded classroom? I think not! Frances C.
