I just had to respond to the letter asking if 4 life guards is too many at the small pool.

I don't know about the writer, but when it came to the life of my children there were never too many Life Guards at a swimming pool to suit me. I have seen that small pool so full of children splashing around that it was hard to tell where one ended and the other began, 4 Life Guards were definitely needed to keep an eye on all those small bodies.
