Another source of dangerous air/water pollution is fireworks. Although primarily only seasonal, the concentrations of heavy metals in firework smoke and debris is even more poisonous. Do the research, fireworks are not a good idea when we depend on water collected on our roofs. Be a good neighbor, don't burn trash, don't explode fireworks anywhere near neighbors' (or your own) homes. The cancer rates are already much too high in Ketchikan.
