The State of Alaska has successfully sold the marine vessel E. L. Bartlett on eBay for $389,500.00. The "E.L. Bartlett", a 193-foot vessel was built in 1968 and can carry 29 cars and 236 passengers. The Bartlett was listed on eBay for 10 day and received 28 bids.

The State of Alaska says it will continue to pursue the use of eBay to sell large items of surplus property.
