The town's most memorable
logger
by LeeAnn Heath

Tuesday
I just read the article about Arvid Risland who is my uncle on
my mother's side.
He died shortly after the last time I saw him at a family reunion
in Missoula, Montana in 1991.
The story is a great tribute
to him and his legacy. If I ever get to Alaska I will be honored
and moved to visit his memorial. Thank you so much for great
memories of my uncle Arvid.
