First, thank you very much for your patience and understanding. We have a plan that we are confident will work for the near future (when we will be able to move into the new building). I have contacted the Commissioner of Education about emergency closure days for the seventh and eighth grade while we made preparations to open school in the Plaza. School will start for both seventh and eighth grade on Thursday September 8th. The plan is to have seventh graders attend in the morning for five hours and the eighth grade attend in the afternoon for five hours. Each class will receive the four core classes of language arts, math, science, and social studies every day along with rotating specials as time allows. The daily schedule will be:
Buses will be available to transport students if you so desire and a bus schedule will be printed in the paper and sent to you individually before school starts on Thursday, September 8th. Again thank you - we will continue to provide information as we receive it. Sincerely, Harry E. Martin
