No
to Consolidation

The Republicans went wild in Ketchikan, Alaska with the dock
expansion, the proposed bridge to Gravina Island VIA Pennock
Island and now Consolidation!
Consolidate the Borough government and City government will come
with a high price tag. Why would any Borough residents vote
for consolidation for services that they won't or never receive?
It will take the majority vote from the Borough residents and
the majority of the City residents to consolidate the two governments.
The history of consolidation vote in Ketchikan always failed
and never got the majority Borough vote for good reasons out-lined
above.
This is another great waste of your local and state tax dollars
being wasted by your local politicians from the Borough and City
governments. There is an election coming up and vote out the
folks that want to run you into the poor house. I am urging
the Democratic Party, Independence Party, Green Party, Non-Partisan
Party and any Parties downtown to work together to vote out these
money hungry greedy leeches Republican incumbents and candidates
that will destroy and ruin Alaska. Vote out Republicans and
gave back Alaska to the hard working people.
In closing, I wonder who is pulling the strings of the blundering
politicians in Ketchikan. It is the same people that want the
bridge to nowhere, dock expansion and open up more old growth
timber to line their pockets. Take a look at the North end of
Gravina Island. The termite people are killing the forests.
Vote No on Consolidation. This is my own opinion.
