As a pilot's wife the favorite part of my day today *sarcasm
included* was reading about all the fatal airplane crashes in
Mr. Kiffer's article "Fatal Plane Crashes Average One a
Year."
Though it was a very informative article concerning the crashes
in recent history here in Ketchikan, it didn't include, or mention,
the thousands (tens of thousands in my best guess) of flights
which our pilots complete successfully.
I would have rather read an article recognizing those that did
not survive the latest plane crash as Sitnews has done in the
past. They deserve our acknowledgement.
Steve and Lesley: There is an entire town praying for you and
your family, as well as for Sara, Mindy, little Allison, and
those that did not survive. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
