Limiting Initiatives
By Michael Moyer

I would like to propose an initiative to limit initiatives! What gall of the do gooders in our town who feel it necessary to redesign our town with a socio economic experiment! How about this? Let's propose an initiative that limits others from attempting to limit the right of others to work as legitimate merchants and operate successful tax paying businesses. OH WAIT I just remembered! That initiative was already done and by golly there were two of them! One was signed in 1776 and is our Constitution! The second is the Bill of Rights. These folks need to read them and live by them.

Who would ever enforce such a regulation as is being proposed here? Do we have a little man on a tricycle to ride around town with a ticket book to fine store owners who might have a higher than allowed amount of jewelry in their shops? How about an initiative that limits the amount of bread or shoes that can be sold?
