By Weston Davis August 17, 2009 Encouraging people to take plants home from one state to another, or from one country to another is at best a bad idea, and at worst is a form of ecological sabotage.(Not to mention illegal.) I live in Ketchikan, and have seen what kind of damage non-native organisms can cause. (We have several, IE Japanese Knotweed.)
