Congressman Don Young's wife of over 46 years, Lu Young has passed away at the couple's home in Great Falls, Virginia. Lu Young was 67 years old.

Meredith M. Kenny Communications Director for the Congressman wrote in an email today that Lu Young passed in the middle of the evening last night and is believed to have died of natural causes. The specific cause of death is still unknown.

Kenny asked that the privacy of Congressman Young and his family be respected during this incredibly difficult time.
