Library: Head Tax Money
By Ace Chenhall
August 19, 2010
Thursday AM
The statement made in "License to Spend" that head
tax money could be used to fund a library goes way beyond deceptive,
it's an outright lie. That money can only be used for tourist
related development, which the library certainly is not.
There is either a total lack
of information and understanding, or a total lack of ethic going
on here. Whichever the case is, head tax money can not be used
for a new library anymore than it could be used to build a new
school, or a new post office.
