BUT, last August 9, 2013, I again went personally to the KPU Office to request if our deposit can be applied to our August billing statement, UNFORTUNATELY, KPU denied my request as the statement of June of $95.11 was paid June 27 which was supposed to be paid June 25, a mere two days, without any consideration to the tenets of a non-income subscriber whose lifeline is the use of the internet and cable connections. Sad to say, I again told my wife to soften up her adrenaline, not to count my stress, we have to suffer another year because of a simple mistake of overshooting payments for only 2 days, just to avail of the thoughts of waiving a one month repreive in our payments. This is not a complaint per se, but a clarification if KPU Billing Department has a window of consideration to an honest grievance from a senior citizen whose income is just an SSA Benefits and has contained stuck in a room 24/7. In this regard, KPU should at least have a desk for a human consideration and re-consideration in this regard, but I hope not anyway. Then I can remember what Houdini has said "Now you see me, now you don't" E Pluribus Unum.....God Bless the KPU.... Joey Garcia
