Thanks with meaning! By A.M. Johnson August 06, 2014
A couple of things on my mind that warrants following up on. The first is the line crew of the KPU who are installing new poles on North Tongass. I pass these fellows several times a day. What is most noticeable is the intense attitude of the crew. From the foreman and I suppose the safety watch on the operation to the full crew. There is no slack time. Everybody appears professional with no lost movements. I thank them for their diligent and safe work area that they provide for their selves and the driving public. Good job!! The second is to the State of Alaska maintenance crew that tend to our country roads. With the massing of a full crew from across the state, they addressed this season, several of our neighborhood lanes. Again, there is no slack! The trucks, road equipment and crew were diligence in making hay while the sun shorn. A big thank you guys, we all appreciate your dedication to keeping our electrical power and country lanes up. Let that include the winter plowing! Regards Al Johnson About: "Been a KPU customer from when the lines were "Black-# White-# prefix. and roads maintained with chain drive and hard rubber tires!!"
