FairTax

By Kathleen Perera

I agree with Wiley Brook's letter to you dated August 6, 2013. Our country was able to be financial stable for over half of its life WITHOUT the IRS and income tax.

The FairTax is the only tax system that makes EACH of its citizens responsible for generating revenue for their government rather than just the +/- 49% of Americans who actually work and earn an income.

The FairTax is the only tax system that will encourage businesses to make business plan decisions based on the good of their business rather than how to get out of paying taxes.

The FairTax eliminates one of the chief Communistic planks (number 2) laid out by K.Marx to establish a 'heavy progressive or graduated income tax'.

The FairTax is the only tax system that will also capture revenue from the estimated 3 billion dollar underground economy.

It is fair, simple, and transparent.

It is the answer to our economic woes.
