Chere Klein for District 36 By Peggy Wilson August 13, 2014
I’d like to tell you why I am ENDORSING CHERE KLEIN for District 36 House of Representative; and why it’s important you vote for her August 19th over other candidates currently running. 1st and foremost - Chere Klein has directly worked on legislative matters in Juneau and Ketchikan for me over the past two years. She learned and knows the importance of coordinating conflicting viewpoints; carefully listening to constituents’ concerns; and necessary collaboration with other statewide legislators’. These are tough but critical in order to accomplish anything beneficial for our cities and communities of Southeast. 2nd - Chere Klein has business experience working in multiple industries represented in our region. In addition, she and her husband Loren Enright are involved in every aspect of the day to day operation, challenges, and personal accountability of fully owning a small company for over twenty years. 3rd - Chere will be objective, fight tirelessly for, and always consider Ketchikan constituent’s best interests when tough statewide policy and regulatory decisions affecting small businesses and jobs are and continue being made in Juneau. Chere has the energy to work the long hours, the legislative processes under her belt, can negotiate and work with diverse people, and personally understands the range of business sectors represented in Southeast to actually get things done.
