Vote for Patti Mackey

By Katie Montgomery

I would like to encourage the voters of District 36 to Vote for Patti Mackey this Tuesday August 19.

Patti has the experience we need; she has traveled to Juneau dozens of times over the past 20 years to advocate on behalf of the community and one of Alaska's largest industries. She is well known by many legislators and has developed long term relationships with industry leaders across the state; in tourism, transportation, oil and gas, banking and fisheries.

Frequently Patti is at the table with representatives from other local industries when issues of importance to each of them is discussed among state and federal government officials.

Patti understands the importance of a diverse economy and wants all sectors to have an opportunity for growth.

Patti has a reputation for being fair and respectful but willing to question and challenge others who do not share her view; never to seek ways to undermine them with personal attacks.

Patti has given many hours of her personnal time to groups and organizations, many times in a leadership role, that address the needs of children, education, healthcare and business.

I believe Patti is the best candidate; she has a proven record for working with people, cultivating relationships and getting things accomplished.

Vote with me for Patti Mackey on Tuesday August 19.

Thank you,

Katie Montgomery
