Body found in wooded area near Klawock

(SitNews) Klawock, Alaska - Alaska State Troopers on Prince of Wales Island in Southeast Alaska received a report on Sunday of the death of a female in a wooded area near Klawock.
The victim was tentatively identified as 27 year old, Judylee Guthrie of Hydaburg. The Alaska State Medical Examiner was notified and requested the victim's remains be sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Anchorage for autopsy and positive identification.
Next of kin was notified.
The investigation is ongoing.
