Ketchikan, AK - A boat fire aboard 'Jeannie' at Thomas Basin was reported to the Ketchikan Fire Department at 7:55 am Friday.

According to information provided by a Ketchikan dispatcher Sunday, KFD firefighters responded to the boat fire at float #3 with 24 firefighters. The fire aboard 'Jeannie' was extinguished by the KFD firefighters by 8:05 am.

The owner's name was not available and no injuries were reported. The total amount of damage to 'Jeannie' and the cause of the blaze was not available.
