Why should us taxpayers pay for someone else to start up a business and give them something for free? The State of Alaska was already stupid enough to give the cold storage project a $1.435 million for just preliminary financial commitment and has released $400,000 Just for planning, government waste of money. Private enterprise, use your own money and you take the risks and not taxpayers. This reminds me of Steve Seley's lumber business wanting the Government (the taxpayers) to build a new roads to his sawmill. It was stupid to build a sawmill on Gravina Island with no infrastructure in the first place or. The $240 million dollar boon-doggle proposed bridge bail-out project to Gravina Island via Pennock Island so a few opulent people can drive over at taxpayers expense. Why don't the people that want a bridge to Gravina Island and Pennock Island finance it themselves? How many people actually live on Gravina Island? 60 or 80 people full time if that? Nation-wide there are examples of U.S.Government bail-outs. The big airlines; Delta, United, American and etc. They all want taxpayers to bail them out of bankruptcy. Wasn't my fault you don't know how to run a business and you want me to pay for your mistakes? Sorry, I am broke! Anybody else see a picture developing in Ketchikan, Alaska? If you want a cold storage in Ketchikan, pay for it yourself Ketchikan Regional Cold Storage Association Board. Whom ever wants a bridge built to Gravina Island, you pay for it out of your own savings account. I am broke. This is my own opinion. Don Hoff Jr.
