Ketchikan, Alaska - Cynthia Stern weighs in her 19.6 lb Coho in the Ketchikan Little League Silver Derby, at Knudson Cove Marina. Stern's Coho is just a fin lighter than last year's winner of 19.8 lb caught by Bill Pattison.

The Ketchikan Little League Silver Derby runs August 1st -September 30th. There are several sponsors of the derby including Tongass Trading Company providing the first prize of a $1000.00 Tongass gift certificate. The 2nd place prize worth $510 provided by Clover Pass Resort includes a one night stay, dinner & breakfast and a 20 foot boat rental from Clover Pass Resort.
 
Their are 30 places in the derby with lots of gift certificates and cash from numerous businesses around Ketchikan.
