3,000 miles from Ketchikan

To answer Alan Miller the questions, Chattanooga, TN is 3,000
miles from Ketchikan, Alaska. I want to clarify a couple points
for Alan. My opinions represent and speak for the Raven House
(Yei l Hit) Gaanax adi Clan of the Taan Ta Kwaan only (Sea lion
People) or known as Tongass Tribe that is Indigenous to Ketchikan
and surrounding lands.
Start a war with other Countries and take their oil and gas?
The war in Iraq is not about democracy or revenge on 9-11!
Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with 9-11 in New York City.
It is about oil and gas my brain washed American. Watch and
see what America will do to Iran. Iran is the major player of
the world's oil and gas; it is not about producing nuclear energy
or the bomb it is about oil and gas. America's early darkest
history is stealing all the natural resources from the Indigenous
Native Americans in their migration from the East coast to the
West coast. Those days was called, "Termination of Native
Americans". Exploitation of Alaska Native natural resources
goes on today trying to open up Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
for oil and gas that doesn't belong to the State of Alaska or
United States. The positive solution to these problems is to,
"mind your own business" America and we won't lose
anymore American lives.
I have more eloquent remarks which you forgot that I like listed
below.
We truly live in a brain-washed society thinking that we are
created equal and there is justice for all but really means,
"just us". Or
Let's not forget that Governor Murkowski's family own property
on Gravina Island near Ketchikan, Alaska. There is a family
owned 33 acre old gold mine plots named, Goldstring and Goldstone
sites valued at $250,000 just south of Clam Cove on Gravina Island.
(Gee, that is where they want to pioneer a road, Clam Cove.)
I guess if I were going to retire from politics soon, I would
push a bridge project costing $315 million dollars to the taxpayers
so I can drive over to my property on Gravina Island. Or,
The world's oil supply is going to be depleted around 2040.
Some scientists will argue that the oil supply will be depleted
around 2020. They are saying we have at the most four generations
of fossil fuels left in the world which includes our coal reserves
in North America. Or,
Don't waste anymore of our tax dollars to worthless projects
like a bridge to nowhere. If you're so stead fast to drive over
a bridge, there are plenty of bridges in the lower 48 you can
drive over all you want. Drive over bridges all day long if
you want too. Or,
You can tell a lie a thousand different ways but you only have
to tell the truth once.
I will admit and agree with Alan on one point and that is I should
submit a positive response or solutions to correct problems in
my opinions in my future letters. What will benefits of economic
growth in Southeast Alaska is keep Alaska pristine, quit butchering
the land and exploiting our natural resources. This next general
election, elect a Democratic Governor and Democratic Representative
to Washington D.C . . . to correct all the wrongs the Republican
Party caused.
In closing, I am not ashamed of myself and won't back down from
the truth. As for the young people, they should know about racism
and discrimination in America and Alaska's dark history or the
truth to what really happened in our history in America or Alaska
to prevent it from happening again. I don't expect you to understand
Indigenous' points of view. This is my very own opinion.
