YES on Proposition 1
By Heather Muench

Friday AM
Opponents of Proposition 1 limiting jewelry stores cry private
property rights.
In reality, there are many restrictions on private property.
On residential property within the city limits, we can t put
a mobile home or sawmill, have more than 5 dogs without a special
permit, and other restrictions.
Liquor establishments, while legal in the commercial zone have
restrictions on how close they can be to schools and churches.
All these restrictions are for community well being. Just like
a YES vote on Proposition 1. That's why I'm voting YES.
