By Jerilyn Lester September 05, 2008 If Ms. Brewer hasn't noticed, Palin would really like Southeast Alaska, Ketchikan in particular, to dry up and blow away. The money that she brags that she has vetoed is mostly the bridge, but the rest of it is money that was supposed to come down here. Gov. Palin is trying to make Juneau just a memory in minds of children as she promotes the moving of the capitol to Anchorage or Wasilla. So what is so surprising is now that she has been given the honor to serve as the VP she is making sure that every one knows that she stopped the bridge but what she hasn't said is that she spent the money up on the mainland partly for the Knik Arm bridge and what ever else she wanted. Not a penny of that money came down here and it won't either. The problem with that is now the State, in her wake, is now struggling to find an alternative to the bridge or have to pay back the money to the Federal Government. So what did she actually do
but to put this state in the position of having to repay the
money that she spread all over the mainland instead of spending
it where it was intended. BUT SHE DID NOT TELL THAT TO AMERICA
THAT PART OF THE EQUATION, now did she?
