The Stench of [Complaining]
By Katie Parrott

Things are not so black and white, Mr. Hanger. Not one of our
elected boneheads, as you so endearingly call them, is infallible,
nor are their decisions always going to be infinitely wise and
the outcomes perfectly judicious. How presumptive can you get?
(An honest question.)
Are your decisions, personal and professional, perfect? (A rhetorical
question.) Obviously not, judging by the way you chose to voice
some of your opinions in your letter. I understand your outrage
and the need to vent, but a little tact might enable the bits
of truth in your ranting to be heard.
For someone who claims to be done with Alaska politics, you
sure have done a lot of [complaining]. [Complaining] is unproductive
and of no use to anyone, and quite frankly makes you sound foolish.
Instead of getting your [shorts] in such a wad and throwing around
insults, dig out that wedgie and do something productive! Bring
justice and order to the KGB! Run for office and initiate reform!
As impeccable as your judgment seems to be, I d like to see you
put your money where your mouth is, so to speak. Faultless discernment
and omniscient insight into all things related to government
would likely be a welcomed asset to this city and state.
Unfortunately, you won't have the vote of this praying Christian
-- unless you repent and amend your methods.
