McCain will increase taxes
for the middle-class

I am concerned about the lack of attention the media has focused
on Senator McCain's tax proposals. Senator McCain has already
stated he will increase taxes by taxing workers on their employer
provided health care. This means that your gross taxable income
will be increased by the value of your health care insurance.
You will pay higher taxes because your taxable income will increase.
This will increase my tax bill by 20%. That 20% will come directly
out of the money I have available to spend in my home town. I
will go out to dinner and the movies even less than I do now.
I will not do any home repair or remodeling. I will only purchase
essential food and clothing. This not only affects local merchants,
but local sales tax revenues.
Why do the republicans believe that trickle down economics is
only beneficial for the wealthiest Americans? More money in
the pocketbooks of everyday Americans benefit local business
and local economies on a daily basis.
If you currently have medical insurance that is fully or partially
paid by your employer you should look at the issues very carefully
before you vote for Senator McCain.
