KPU DIESEL GENERATION EXPLANATION
By Pete Ellis
September 16, 2009
Wednesday
The reasoning behind running diesel generators at this time of
year needs to be further explained by KPU so that we can understand
the economics involved in not waiting to see the effect of Tyee
connection access and the extent of lake level changes that will
be occurring later in the year as affected by Tyee and our further
rainfall. Or perhaps the Tyee connection will cost more than
the diesel generation?
