Gas Prices

While visiting Juneau this past week (Sept. 18, 2009), I was
astounded to see gas prices at multiple service stations that
were 60-70 cents a gallon cheaper than any in Ketchikan.
Does anyone know why we pay
so much more for fuel? I wonder if fuel oil prices are as different
as well?
