KGH Praises

I'm not entirely sure how to approach this subject. A service
provider does not deserve to be slammed because she simply expressed
her praises for Ketchikan General Hospital.
Unfortunately, I too, work at Ketchikan General Hospital. So,
some might say my viewpoint is rather skewed. But, I have nothing
but good things to say about the individuals that work there.
Every department has upstanding people. KGH is chalked full of
compassionate individuals, who went into this field because they
care about people! I understand there are some politics surrounding
Peacehealth, but I am only grateful for the good things that
our hospital has to offer.
Does anyone realize that KGH employs the largest amount of people
besides The City of Ketchikan? I would say that our economy is
only strengthened by having the ability to provide so many jobs.
I would say that's a huge feat considering the economic condition
of our country.
And I think that the different personalities that work within
that building make it a wonderful place to work and I don't think
the hospital needs service providers to write a letter to the
editor to boost KGH's ratings.
So, I'd like to end this letter on a more happy note by recognizing
my co-workers for the hard work they do! There are a lot more
positive things going on in that hospital, than negative.
And the staff at OBGYN! Hats off to you! You have only delivered
stellar care to myself and my family. Thank you all for providing
the level of care you do in this community! And I can't help
it, but thank Dr. Smith as well, even though she only passes
through on occasion.
