(SitNews) Ketchikan, Alaska - On September 18, 2012, the Ketchikan Police Department released their latest public records covering August 01, 2012 - August 14, 2012. Any charges reported are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty. The Ketchikan Police report is as follows:

On 8/1/12 at approximately 0054 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Tongass Avenue due to a report of a domestic dispute.  Upon arrival officer’s heard a male yelling obscenities, and a female yelling for help.  Officers contacted CLARENCE E. GAUBE, 47 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska.  While investigating officers could see many items broken and the residence was in disarray.  Mr. Gaube was arrested for Domestic Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree and transported to the Ketchikan Correction Center where he was held without bail.

On 8/1/12 at approximately 1033 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop on a motorcycle in the 1700 block of Tongass Avenue. PAUL M. WILLIAMS, 47 years of age, of Ketchikan Alaska, was issued a misdemeanor citation  for No Valid Operator’s License.

On 8/1/12 at approximately 1258 hours, officers were dispatched to the Residential Youth Care Facility (RYC) due to a report of a juvenile male with drugs.  While enroute officers were notified that the juvenile male had fled the facility and RYC staff had located him at Pro Mech.  Officers made contact with the 16 year old juvenile male who ran out of the building, officers ensued a foot chase.  The 16 year old juvenile male was arrested for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Third Degree, Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the fourth Degree and Resisting Arrest and returned to RYC.

On 8/1/12 at approximately 1841 hours, officers received a report of a male causing damage to a vehicle.  Short time later officers contacted WESLEY A. EVANS, 31 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska.  He was arrested for Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree Domestic Violence and was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held without bail.

On 8/1/12 at approximately 1942 hours, officers were contacted by staff of the Residential Youth Care Facility (RYC) to report that a juvenile male was in possession of Hash.  Upon arrival officers made contact with RYC staff and a 17 YEAR OLD JUVENILE MALE.  Upon investigation the 17 year old juvenile male was arrest for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Fourth Degree and transported to the Ketchikan Regional Youth Facility.

On 8/2/12 at approximately 1041hours, officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Dock Street at the Tongass Trading Store due to a report of an elder male in custody for shoplifting.  Officer made contact with store personnel and EVERARDO M. PEREZ, 63 years of age Ketchikan Alaska.  Upon investigation Mr. Perez was arrested for Concealment of Merchandise and transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was set to be released on his own recognizance.

On 8/2/12 at approximately 1501 hours, officers were dispatched to the 4200 block of Don King Road due to a report of a two vehicle accident with injuries.  Upon arrival officers contacted BRIAN L. OJEDA, 18 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, who was issued misdemeanor citations for Driving in violation of Instruction Permit and Reckless Driving.

On 8/3/2 at approximately 1005 hours, officers arrested WELDON R. COX, JR., 46 years of age, of Ketchikan, Alaska, on an outstanding warrant.  Mr. Cox was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where is he was held on $250.00 bail.

On 8/4/12 at approximately 0317 hours, officers responded to the intersection of Mission and Bawden due to a report that a female was kicking a male in the groin.  Upon arrival officers observed CHRISTABELLA J. DUNNE, 23 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, push an adult male multiple times.  Ms. Dunne was arrested for Disorderly Conduct – Fighting and was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was set to be released on her own recognizance.

On 8/4/12 at approximately 1003 hours, officers responded to the Ketchikan General Hospital due to a report of an adult male threatening staff and barricading himself into a hospital room where he was threatening to jump out a second story window.  Upon investigation TERRY A.GRAY, 50 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, arrested for Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the Sixth Degree. He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was set to be released on his own recognizance.

On 8/-6/12 at approximately 1103 hours, officers responded to Tongass Trading Store at 201 Dock Street due to a report of a male threatening an employee.  Officer made contact with store personnel who indicated that JEFFREY W. ORR, 25 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, pick up $700.00 worth of merchandise and was wearing some of it. Mr. Orr said that he was taking the merchandise and that he would blow up the building and commit suicide.  Mr. Orr was charged with three counts of Assault in the fourth Degree and Terroristic Threatening in the Second Degree.  He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held without bail.

On 8/512 at approximately 1827 hours, officers responded to a report of a male and a female having a loud verbal argument at the airport Parking lot.  Officers made contact with LARENA E. BAINTER, 42 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, who showed signs of intoxication.  Ms. Bainter was arrested for Violating Conditions of Release and transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held on $500.00 bail

On 8/5/12 at approximately 2318 hours, officers received a dispatch report of a possible drunk driver swerving in and out of traffic and almost sticking a guard rail on North Tongass Highway.  Officers conducted a traffic stop on 1989 silver Chrysler New Yorker in the 4000 block of Tongass Avenue.  Officer made contact with DANILE S. CAMPBELL, 25 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, who showed signed of intoxication.  Mr. Campbell indicated that there was a firearm in his vehicle.  He was arrested for Driving under the Influence and Misconduct Involving Weapons in the Fourth Degree.  He was transported to the Ketchikan correctional Center where he was set to be released on his own recognizance for both charges.

On 8/6/12 at approximately 1527 hours, officers arrested PATRICK R. DEMPSEY-GREEN, 21 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, on an outstanding warrant.  Mr. Green was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $2,500.00 bail.

On 8/6/12 at approximately 2202 hours, officers were dispatched to the bus stop in the 300 block of Front Street due to a report of a male passed out.  Officers made contact with KENNETH J. SMITH, 29 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, who showed signs of intoxication and was verbally waned not to enter any more bars or liquor store for the remainder of the evening.  A short time later officers observed Mr. Smith enter the Totem Bar.  He was arrested for Drunken Persons on Licensed Premises and transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was set to be released on his own recognizance.

On 8/8/12 at approximately 1419 hours, officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Ohana Court due to a report of a female being threatened with a gun.  Upon investigation AARON MCCOLLEY, 21 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, was charged with Assault in the Third Degree – Domestic Violence.  He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held without bail.

On 8/8/12 at approximately 1713 hours, officers responded to Creek Street to investigate a report of an intoxicated female causing a disturbance.  Upon arrival officers observed KATHLENE A. SNYDER, 54 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, yelling and banging on the outside of an apartment door.  Ms. Snyder became violent and kicked officers.  She was arrested for disorderly conduct – Loud Noise and Disorderly Conduct – Violent and Tumultuous.  Ms. Snyder was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was set to be released on her own recognizances.

On 8/8/12 at approximately 1758 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop in the Plaza parking lot on a1994 maroon 4-door Buick.  Officers contacted ESHWAR R. ASWANI, 43 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska who was issued a misdemeanor citation for   Driving in Violation of Instructional Permit.

On 8/9/12 at approximately 0903, officers responded to the 1300 block of Tongass Avenue due investigate a two vehicle traffic accident blocking the roadway.  Upon investigation officers arrested STEVEN D. COX, 50 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, for Driving under the Influence.  He was transported to the Ketchikan correctional Center, where, due to a prior DUI, he was held on $1,500.00 bail.

On 8/9/12 at approximately 1100 hours, officers were dispatched to the 3310 block of Ohana Court due to a report of a fight between father and son.  Upon investigation officers arrested AARON MCCOLLEY, 21 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, for Assault in the Fourth Degree – Domestic Violence.  He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held without bail.

On 8/9/12 at approximately 1524 hours, officers responded to the Derby Room due to a report of a female violating her conditions of release.  Upon arrival officers arrested LISA K. RENSHAW, 46 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska for Violation of Conditions of Release.  She was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held on $500.00 bail.

On 8/9/12 at approximately 1810 hours, officers arrested ELSIER P.M. ISAACS, 25 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, on an outstanding warrant.  Ms. Isaacs was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where she was held without bail.

On 8/9/12 at approximately 2128 hours, officers were dispatched to Stedman Street near the Salvation Army due to a report of a highly intoxicated male trying to hitchhike.  Upon arrival officers made contact with JOHN O. NELSON, 75 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, who showed signs of intoxication and had an open bottle of whiskey in his possession.  Mr. Nelson was arrested for Disorderly Conduct – Open Container.  He was transported to the Ketchikan correctional Center where he was set to be released on his own recognizance.

On 8/10/12 at approximately 1543 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Tongass Avenue on a white 1999 Ford Van due to a traffic violation.  Officer made contact with SAMANTHA FAWCETT, 23 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska who was issued a misdemeanor citation for Driving While License Revoked.

On 8/12/12 at approximately 0453 hours, officers were flagged down by a Yellow Taxi driver who had a male passenger who refused to pay his fare.  Officers made contact with SHANE M. PADGETT, 26 years of age of Juneau Alaska.  Mr. Padgett was arrested for Theft in the Fourth Degree.   He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he set to be released on his own recognizance.

On 8/13/12 at approximately 0114 hours, officers conducted a traffic stop on a maroon 1993 Buick Sedan in the 3200 block of Tongass Avenue for an inoperable right head light.  Officer made contact with LETTICA C. GRARCIA, 37 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska who was issued a misdemeanor citation for Driving While License Suspended.

On 8/13/12 at approximately 1232 hours, officers responded to the 3200 block of Baranof Avenue due to a report of a domestic dispute.  Upon investigation officers arrested CHARLES A. CESSNUN, 21 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, for Assault in the Fourth Degree – Domestic Violence.  He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Facility where he was held without bail.

On 8/13/12 at approximately 1345 hours, officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Alaska Avenue due to a report that a male had assaulted three juveniles.  Upon investigation officers arrested NICHOLAS B. SKUBINNA, 25 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, on two counts of Assault in the Fourth Degree and Violating Conditions of Release.  He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $1,500.00 bail.

On 8/13/12 at approximately 1642 hours, officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Woodside Drive due to a report of a daughter in a possible fight with her stepmom.  Upon investigation officers arrested STASHEA J. STELOW, 32 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, for Assault in the fourth Degree – Domestic Violence.  She was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center and held without bail.

On 8/14/12 at approximately 0056 hours, officers observed DOUG E. VILL, 52 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, walk into the Totem Bar, in violation of his conditions of release.  Mr. Vill was arrested for Violating Conditions of Release.  He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was held on $500.00 bail.

On 8/14/12 at approximately 1003 hours, officers were dispatched to the Ketchikan Public Library due to a report of a male passed out.  Upon arrival officers made contact with GERAL D. WILLIAMS, 53 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, who was unresponsive laying on the ground.  Mr. Williams show signs of intoxication and had in his possession an opened can of beer.  He was arrested for Criminal Trespass and Disorderly Conduct – Open Container.  Mr. Williams was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was set to be released on his own recognizance.

On 8/14/12 at approximately 1554 hours, officers responded to the 300 block of Stedman Street due to a report of two males sleeping on the ground with an open container.  Upon investigation MARK A. HILL, 51 years of age of Ketchikan Alaska, arrested for Disorderly Conduct – Open Container.  He was transported to the Ketchikan Correctional Center where he was set to be release on his own recognizance.
