A view worth capturing By Marshall H. Massengale September 02, 2013
That you may know, I live in Atlanta, GA and have never been to K Town, but hope to make a trip there one day. Through SITNews, I follow all manner of local interest in Ketchikan. Amongst my onlne friends in town are Mayor and SITNews columnist Dave Kiffer and Steve and Lesley Kamm of SeaWind Aviation. I enjoy Dave's columns especially and read many of the Letters to the Editor by way of getting to know something of the people who live and work there. I sometimes even click on the advertisements. I have also studied Google Maps and know where to find Tatsuda's IGA, Taquan Air, Alaska Car Rental, Creek Street, Saxman, the International Airport and, of course, SeaWind Aviation, You might say that K Town watching has become something of a hobby for me and I really enjoy getting to be the so-called fly-on-the-wall through the magic of KPU Ketchikan Webcam. And yes, I know when day is done in Ketchikan when all of Brien Salazar's Taquan fleet of deHavilland DHC-2 Beaver float planes is put up by sunset. Anyway, if you like the capture, please give it a feature showing and perhaps a hearty thanks to KPU from me. Kind. Regards, Marshall H.
