FUNDING KMC CONSTRUCTION

I AGREE WITH ED PLUTE. AS OF 2012, THERE WAS A POPULATION IN THE CITY LIMITS OF KETCHIKAN OF 8,119. IF YOU DIVIDE THAT INTO $43,000,000.00, EACH PERSON WOULD BE SIGNING A NOTE FOR $5,296.22 AS THEIR PART IF THIS DOESN'T GET PAID BY TAXES WHILE A SO CALLED NON-PROFIT HOSPITAL MAKES LOADS OF MONEY FOR A RENT OF, WHAT I'VE HEARD, ONE DOLLAR A YEAR.
THEY HAVE A PRETTY SWEET DEAL HERE AND TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF IT. ARE WE [THE CITY] GOING TO TRY AND GET ANY SUPPORT FROM KGB. BET NOT, THEY DON'T FEEL THEY OWE THEIR PART FOR 911.
ED, THE 1.64 BILLION PROFIT WAS ALL PAID IN ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS.
