FairTax propagandist

Ms. Martin, a long time FairTax propagandist posts this same drivel in every publication she can find.

The IRS is NOT eliminated – it is made WORSE. The NEW IRS ((i.e., the STAA) may well decide to audit CONSUMERS. Even more importantly, the FairTax is a Trojan Horse for a NEW Income Tax and thus bringing back the old IRS IN ADDITION to the STAA. That is, Congress would surely repeal the laughable Sunset Clause and the 16th Amendment will NOT be repealed any time soon, and FairTax revenues will be terribly short of its targeted revenue-neutral goals. See Cato Institute’s Dan Mitchell’s warning on this point (Click here).

Notice Ms. Martin’s pathetic Saul Alinsky-like setting up denigration in advance. That is, if you prefer a flat tax over the FairTax, you must be a Socialist who wants to see capitalism destroyed (while at the same time, the FairTax proudly advertises how very Progressive it is – see FairTax’s Progressive-Socialist Goals .
