2014 VOTE FOR THE BEST FOR ALASKA By Margot Miller September 27, 2014
Our oil production and taxation needs careful scrutiny. We have had a unusual twist in our gubernatorial slate with the "Unity" ticket which promises a kind of cooperation in the solution of state economic problems as well as a promise of esprit de corps that may very well portend an original and workable path to our state's great economic development and a willingness to work to continue our way to Alaska's foreseeable prosperous future. It is an exciting year. We have Mark Begich, a genuine statesman who considers what is best for all of Alaska and does, in addition, what a U.S. Senator should do to consider not only the good of HIS state but also the good of our ENTIRE United States. We have Byron Mallot, a life-long resident of Alaska and a person with native indigenous roots with the understanding developed from such a heritage. We have Bill Walker, committed to Alaska,so much so that he dared deviate from the party line to form a ticket with Mallot for ALL of ALASKA, who has searched and researched ways to work with our resources. This is a hugely important race with the potential of electing these leaders to work together to achieve our greatness. Please consider and vote for the "Unity" ticket of Walker/Mallott. Please consider and vote for "Alaska First" of Mark Begich. IT IS FINALLY OUR CHANCE TO VOTE FOR THE BEST FOR ALASKA.
