Judge me based on my service to youBy Rodney Dial

I worked every day during the pandemic to support public health and never forgot our neighbors behind each business who were risking everything to provide services, jobs and tax revenue to our community. To help our budget needs, I applied for every board/commission I could. It took me years of work to get on my first Governor appointed commission (now on my third) and 4 years to get appointed to two national boards. This gives us an ability to participate in requests for national legislation that have huge financial impacts to the borough. Looking forward, the budget challenges next year will be significant. Inflation, employee contracts, health care costs, education deficit, housing development support, community needs and so much more will add large increases to our budget. The only way to address these expenses without major tax increases will be to bring in additional State and Federal revenue. I have proven to you how I helped bring in millions over the years for the Borough. The boards/commissions I am currently serving on will give us leverage in our efforts to continue in this regard. If you reelect me we will not lose our seat on these boards and I will do everything I can to maintain quality, essential services and stay out of your pocketbook. The alternative will be significantly higher taxes and a future Ketchikan that is far more expensive to live in. I have a vested interest in our success because I will be paying these taxes just like you if we can’t solve our problems. Judge me based upon my service to you. Let me help. I need your vote on October 4th. Rodney Dial
