Rep. Cissna hosts statewide Legislative hearing on Friday, Oct. 29 October 27, 2004
Seniors, community members, academia, service providers and policy makers will discuss incentives, disincentives, and economics of aging in Alaska. Existing and future policy decisions necessary to ensure realistic responses to aging and diverse population will also be addressed. The hearings will be coordinated with video and audio connections throughout the state. The public is encouraged to participate at Legislative Information Offices in Barrow, Bethel, Fairbanks, Juneau, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Kotzebue, Mat-Su, Nome, Sitka, and Wrangell. Those affialiated with the University of Alaska are encouraged to participate from the campuses of UAA (Business Education Bldg., Room 117) and UAF (Rasumson Library, Room 341).
