Thanks goes out to all those who supported this effort. I want to thank all of the volunteers who sold tickets, collected money, provided food, prepared food, provided music and helped with the set-up and clean-up. Thanks to all the business owners and others who donated items for the silent auction. And of course thank you for attending this grandiose event. A special thanks goes out to the City of Ketchikan for the donation of the Ted Ferry Civic Center and Laura and the staff for their help. Thank you Marie Monyak - ticket sales chair, Bruce Begeman - food chair, Kathy Graham - silent auction chair and Susan Fisher - collections & disbursement chair. Over $6,000 was sent to each of the three designated charities consisting of the Red Cross, Operation Blessing and the Salvation Army. Checks written to specify one of those organizations have been forwarded directly to them. 100% of the $18,682.61 raised has been distributed to these three organizations.
