Two Ketchikan Men Arrested;
Drugs, Cash and Guns Confiscated

Ketchikan, Alaska - A continuing investigation by the Ketchikan
Police Department and the Alaska State Troopers resulted in the
arrest of two Ketchikan men and the confiscation of 513.9 grams
of marijuana, over $13,000 in U.S. currency, 17 handguns and
22 long guns, according to John Maki, Deputy Chief of the Ketchikan
Police Department.

A search warrant was granted for officers to search 711 Harris
Street in Ketchikan. According to Maki, the search was conducted
about 8:00 pm on October 14th.
Arrested were Norman Wiley
Bolles, 43, of Ketchikan and Frank Alan Hill, 41, of Ketchikan.
Bolles was charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance
in the 4th degree and two counts of felony theft in the 2nd degree.
Hill was charged with two counts of misconduct involving a controlled
substance in the 4th degree.
Two of the weapons confiscated
by the Officers had been previously reported as stolen. The confiscated
Remington 30.06 rifle had been reported stolen to Ketchikan Police
in 1991 and a Mossberg shotgun had been reported stolen in the
Ketchikan area to the Alaska State Troopers in 1993.
Both Bolles and Hill were booked
in the Ketchikan Corrections Center said Maki.

Related to the investigation, Deputy Chief Maki said on October
20th a grand jury in Ketchikan delivered indictments against
four additional subjects in methamphetamine drug sales.
A grand jury on Thursday delivered
indictments against:
Cent Harvey Gementiza, 25,
of Ketchikan was indicted on four counts of misconduct involving
a controlled substance in the 3rd degree.
Brian Lee Schroeder, 31, of
Ketchikan was indicted on two counts of misconduct involving
a controlled substance in the 3rd degree.
Timothy Shawn Lloyd, 24, of
Ketchikan was indicted on five counts of misconduct involving
a controlled substance in the 3rd degree - three counts by the
Ketchikan Police Department and two counts additional counts
by the Alaska State Troopers.
Terri L. Bermudez, 35, of Ketchikan
was indicted on three counts of misconduct involving a controlled
substance in the 3rd degree.
Any charges are merely accusations
and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven
guilty.
