Regarding the White Cliff Center, the issue is far less about taxes and far more about quality of life. In a time where economic development has become the buzz word for Ketchikan, the White Cliff Center is a valid avenue to pursue when attracting professionals to live and work in our community. A building which houses and nurtures youth, talent, and wisdom is certainly a pragmatic approach to creating one more solid foundation toward positive economic growth. Indeed, cherishing our past, strengthening our talents, and safeguarding our future is worth every penny. Please vote "yes" for the White Cliff Center on Tuesday's ballot. Respectfully, Rebecca A.
