Like Wow! The Ketchikan Harley Riders Association brought Christmas
to over 700 children last year and has been doing it for over
19 years. And now, to the best of my knowledge, our first congrats
from the Mayor!
Thank you, Mr. Mayor and to all that bought tickets! It's a beautiful
Harley and we were all sad that the winning ticket drawn was
not our own. But the event raised a lot of money for the kids!
As for Ketchikan Harley Riders currying favors, HA! - that remains
to be seen. Perhaps our bike winners along with Mr. Kiffer will
attend our next fund raiser or donate to the 2008 Toy Run --
see our site www.khra.us for
dates.
K.H.R.A.'s next raffle bike is sure to be even nicer and I will
personally contact Mr. Kiffer as soon as the tickets are printed.
Having been a student of his saxophone lessons, if he wins the
next bike, K.H.R.A will provide riding lessons. Are Mayors allowed
to wear leather?
Also, keep an eye out for this year's new toy run donation tanks.
They are being painted by our own Kayhi art class students and
will be out soon!
Ride Safe,
