My grandson's grades are suffering because they are being shuffled here and there. I've spoken to other parents and their children who were getting A's and B's last year are getting D's and F's! I attended the next meeting of the school board and asked that they revist their decision not to hire a sub. They talked around the subject and when the meeting was over I stayed and talked to the school board until they agreed to advertise the position, I did get a bit mouthy but it was for the sake of the children, the board directed the CEO to advertise the position but I have yet to see it advertised and feel that they did this to pacify me. It's not working, board members and CEO. I will go to the State Board of Education if nothing is done to keep that class stationary. Apparently, everyone knows that the early years are the most important years of school for any child, everyone but the school board and the CEO. I shudder to think of the expenses that are being incurred now as well. It's time for everyone to speak up and say enough! Our children need the best possible education we can offer them and it's not happening. Please attend school board meetings and voice your concerns! Frances C.
