Congressional leadership

Regarding Senator Murkowski's op-ed, if Congress would take a
leadership role in solving climate change issues, the EPA would
not have to step in and do your job for you. Congress, both
Democrats & Republicans have "dragged their feet"
for years in implementing the legislative changes we need to
protect us from the affects of changes in the atmosphere brought
on by rapidly increasing carbon emissions due to population increases
and industrial expansion. For you to attempt to put the blame
on the EPA is disingenuous at best.
This is another example of why we need effective campaign finance
reform to limit the power of 'big business' in congress. Not
just Senator Murkowski, but virtually all members of congress
fund their re-elections in large part through money from large
industy trade groups. As long as we allow this, the best interest
of the average American will not be well represented in congress.
