Perhaps someone out there can explain to me why, with failing water mains and sewer mains for Schoenbar, Chatham & Front, Mill, Stedman Streets, we built that beautiful new library. Surely the condition of the water/sewer mains was known to the City long before the library was built. I'm sure I'll get some song & dance about different funding sources, etc. etc.
In my world, I don't get to buy a diamond ring when baby needs shoes.
