I'm Voting for Chere Klein By Renee Schofield October 09, 2014 Dear Editor: I’m a small business owner with operations throughout Alaska. I’m voting for Chere Klein and I want to share why. District 36 covers a lot of territory and is important for Ketchikan, Wrangell, Metlakatla, axman, Hydaburg, Hyder, Loring & Meyers Chuck to have a voice with the majority and there isn’t a pundit around that doesn’t think the Republicans will have the House Majority again. Chere, as a lifelong Alaskan is familiar with all these communities. She not only listens but reaches out to find out more facts and figures. Chere worked during the last session with Rep. Peggy Wilson and earned the respect of many; as well as, learning the district, constituents and issues. She has built those all-important relationships that help good legislation get made, and making sure District 36 has input into the final form. This is one of the most important reasons to vote for her. We need someone who has the relationships in place. INVALUABLE. I’m supporting Chere because she has been in business throughout Southeast. She has lived through and knows the frustrations and barriers facing those of us who want to expand our economic opportunities. She has helped many people work their way through onerous regulatory hurdles. I like that she has had kids in the school system, and has shown that she gives back and cares about our community. I’ve been watching the candidates closely. Where they are, what they are saying, what they believe in and stand for. Chere hits all the marks in taking care of the people of District 36 and that matters a great deal to me. I want a candidate who is accessible, a listener, a researcher and dedicated. Chere Klein is that person. These are some of the qualities I look for in a state representative and I’m asking you to join me in voting for Chere Klein on November 4. Thank you, Renee Schofield, CEO
