Vote for Chere Klein By K.A. Swiger October 23, 2014
Many years ago I got to know Chere Klein 1st hand through serving on numerous committees together across our community. She is not afraid of hard work, gets things done with little fanfare, has a penchant for facts, is direct & honest, and stands firm when she has committed to something. We have all seen Alaska s demographics changing over the years to the point where the largest concentration of population is in Southcentral the Anchorage/Matsu Valley area. With this larger population comes more representation in the State Legislature. More representation has all kinds of benefits, but in a nutshell, more votes equal more money. Ketchikan has been reduced from 4th largest city to 5th. Southeast Alaska is not really the panhandle anymore, we are the tail , trailing along behind. It is absolutely critical that Ketchikan elect Chere Klein, the candidate with experience in our legislative process, rules, and even committee protocols to represent us in Juneau. A person who knows how and can navigate a bill through committees, stand firm to control the serious deficit, and of course knows and can negotiate with the key individuals --who far outnumber us up north. We cannot afford to be left behind by inexperience. Join me in voting for Chere Klein on November 4th. Sincerely, K.A. Swiger About: "K.A.
