We Were All Kids Once;
Halloween on Jackson/Monroe Street

Hey Folks: Please try to remember that we were all kids
once; at least most of us. What is wrong with letting kids
have some fun one night per year for a few hours? It's
fun to see all of the different outfits and smiles at the small
expense of a few bags of candy. I always have a box of
dog treats too to greet any four legged friends that join
in the fun. We were fortunate this year that the rain and
wind held off for a few hours.
The experience always reminds me of my parents and my childhood
adventures on Halloween night. There are many things that
we can complain about, but this is certainly not one of them.
I always look forward to this one night each year when we can
open our doors and join in the fun!
